Roberto Bolković

Hi, I'm Roberto.

I was born in Pula, Croatia, and I work as a technician for a building-management company, responsible for a portfolio of almost 200 buildings. I graduated from the Faculty of Economics specialising in Finance, and I am currently completing a specialist postgraduate study in Service Marketing.

For my final thesis I decided to research digital nomads in Istria. It is a genuinely interesting topic and a relatively unexplored one in the Istrian context: there is very little evidence about how remote workers actually perceive the region, which services they use, and what would need to change for Istria to develop properly as a destination for them.

I chose marketing for my postgraduate studies because it is a dynamic field, and I hope to keep researching and publishing academic work on marketing and digital nomadism.
