Prize draw – terms and conditions
1. Who is running what
The research is organised by Remote Work Europe, operated by BlockSparks OÜ, Sepapaja 6, 15551 Tallinn, Estonia. Remote Work Europe designs, runs and publishes the survey, and is the data controller for the survey and for the draw entries.
The prize draw is organised and sponsored by Xolo Business Spain, S.L.U. (NIF B-67817262), Calle Muntaner 239, ático, 08021 Barcelona, trading as Xolo Spain. As organiser they purchase the prize, own it until it is awarded, are responsible for any applicable withholding and tax filing, and deliver the prize to the winner.
Remote Work Europe administers the draw on their behalf – it holds the entries, performs the random selection and notifies the winner. This is deliberate: it means no entrant's personal data reaches Xolo Spain at all, except the winner's delivery details under clause 7.
Remote Work Europe at no point acquires, holds, funds or delivers the prize.
2. The prize
One pair of Apple AirPods Max. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.
3. How to enter – free, and no purchase necessary
Complete the survey and provide an email address at the optional final step, ticking the box to enter the draw. Entry is completely free. No purchase is required and there is no premium-rate telephone or messaging cost.
Ticking the newsletter box is not a condition of entry, and entering the draw works identically whether or not you subscribe.
4. Who can enter
Open to residents of Spain aged 18 or over. One entry per person. Employees of Remote Work Europe / BlockSparks OÜ and of Xolo Spain, and their immediate families, are excluded.
Entry requires completing at least half of the survey statements and ticking the entry box at the end. Entry is free: there is no purchase, no surcharge and no premium-rate charge of any kind. Individual questions remain optional, and choosing not to answer a particular question does not affect eligibility provided at least half are answered overall.
5. When
The draw opens at 09:00 CEST on 7 September 2026 and closes at 23:59 CEST on 20 September 2026. Entries received outside that window are not valid.
Participants in the pre-launch pilot are included in the draw.
6. How the winner is chosen
One winner is selected at random from all valid entries, using a verifiable random selection tool, within five working days of the draw closing.
7. Notification and delivery
The winner is contacted by email within five working days of the draw. If there is no response within 14 days, the prize is redrawn.
The prize is posted directly by Xolo Spain, within Spain. To receive it, your name and delivery address have to be passed to Xolo Spain, because they are the party sending it. We will ask your permission first, and nothing is shared without your active agreement.
If you would rather your address were not passed on, the prize is redrawn. There is no penalty for saying no – but there is no other way for us to get the prize to you.
The prize is dispatched no later than 31 October 2026.
8. Tax
The prize is a ganancia patrimonial which the winner must declare in their own IRPF return.
Any ingreso a cuenta due on the prize, and the associated filing, are the responsibility of Xolo Spain as organiser of the draw, as the party purchasing and awarding the prize.
9. Publication of the winner
We publish the winner's first name and initial only, and only with their consent.
If the winner would like to be named more fully, or mentioned on social media alongside Remote Work Europe and Xolo Spain, they are very welcome to. It is entirely their choice, and declining makes no difference to the prize.
10. Your data
Entering the draw does not enrol you in any marketing. The email address you give to enter is used only to administer the draw. Results are sent only to people who separately asked to hear from us, and that is a different tick box.
Your survey answers are anonymous and are stored separately from your email address. The two are never joined. See the privacy notice for the full detail.
11. Law
These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute is subject to the courts of the winner's province of residence.
12. Acceptance
Entering the draw constitutes acceptance of these terms. Entries which are fraudulent, automated or duplicated will be disqualified.
Sorteo – bases legales

La investigación está organizada por Remote Work Europe, operado por BlockSparks OÜ, Sepapaja 6, 15551 Tallin, Estonia. Remote Work Europe diseña, realiza y publica la encuesta, y es el responsable del tratamiento de los datos de la encuesta y de las participaciones en el sorteo.
El sorteo está organizado y patrocinado por XOLO BUSINESS SPAIN, S.L.U. (NIF B-67817262), Calle Muntaner 239, ático, 08021 Barcelona, con nombre comercial Xolo Spain. Como organizador, adquiere el premio, es su titular hasta la entrega, asume el ingreso a cuenta que corresponda y su presentación, y entrega el premio a la persona ganadora.
Remote Work Europe gestiona el sorteo por cuenta de Xolo Spain: custodia las participaciones, efectúa la selección aleatoria y notifica a la persona ganadora. Es una decisión deliberada, ya que así ningún dato personal de las personas participantes llega a Xolo Spain, salvo los datos de envío de la persona ganadora conforme a la cláusula 7.
Remote Work Europe en ningún momento adquiere, posee, financia ni entrega el premio.
2. El premio
Unos Apple AirPods Max. No existe alternativa en metálico y el premio no es transferible.
3. Cómo participar – gratis y sin obligación de compra
Completa la encuesta y facilita un correo electrónico en el paso final opcional, marcando la casilla de participación en el sorteo. La participación es totalmente gratuita. No se requiere ninguna compra ni existe coste de tarificación adicional.
Marcar la casilla del boletín no es condición para participar, y el sorteo funciona igual tanto si te suscribes como si no.
4. Quién puede participar
Personas residentes en España mayores de 18 años. Una participación por persona. Quedan excluidas las personas empleadas de Remote Work Europe / BlockSparks OÜ y de Xolo Spain, así como sus familiares directos.
Para participar es necesario responder al menos a la mitad de las afirmaciones de la encuesta y marcar la casilla de participación al final. La participación es gratuita: no existe compra, ni sobreprecio, ni tarificación adicional de ningún tipo. Cada pregunta sigue siendo opcional, y no responder a una pregunta concreta no afecta a la participación siempre que se responda al menos a la mitad del total.
5. Fechas
El sorteo se abre el 7 de septiembre de 2026 a las 09:00 CEST y se cierra el 20 de septiembre de 2026 a las 23:59 CEST. No serán válidas las participaciones recibidas fuera de ese plazo.
Las personas participantes en la prueba piloto previa al lanzamiento entran en el sorteo.
6. Selección de la persona ganadora
Se elegirá una persona ganadora al azar entre todas las participaciones válidas, mediante una herramienta de selección aleatoria verificable, en los cinco días hábiles siguientes al cierre.
7. Notificación y entrega
Se contactará con la persona ganadora por correo electrónico en los cinco días hábiles siguientes al sorteo. Si no responde en 14 días, se repetirá el sorteo.
El premio lo envía directamente Xolo Spain, dentro de España. Para poder recibirlo, es necesario facilitar tu nombre y tu dirección de envío a Xolo Spain, ya que es la parte que lo remite. Te pediremos permiso antes de hacerlo y no se comparte nada sin tu consentimiento expreso.
Si prefieres que no se facilite tu dirección, se repetirá el sorteo. Negarse no conlleva ninguna penalización, pero no existe otra forma de hacerte llegar el premio.
El premio se enviará, como máximo, el 31 de octubre de 2026.
8. Fiscalidad
El premio constituye una ganancia patrimonial que la persona ganadora deberá declarar en su IRPF.
El ingreso a cuenta que en su caso corresponda, y su presentación, son responsabilidad de Xolo Spain como organizador del sorteo, en su condición de parte que adquiere y entrega el premio.
9. Publicación
Publicaremos únicamente el nombre y la inicial del apellido de la persona ganadora, y solo con su consentimiento.
Si la persona ganadora desea que se la nombre de forma más completa, o que se la mencione en redes sociales junto a Remote Work Europe y Xolo Spain, puede hacerlo con total libertad. Es enteramente su decisión, y negarse no afecta en nada al premio.
10. Tus datos
Participar en el sorteo no te suscribe a ninguna comunicación comercial. El correo que facilitas se utiliza únicamente para gestionar el sorteo. Los resultados solo se envían a quienes lo han solicitado por separado, en una casilla distinta.
Tus respuestas de la encuesta son anónimas y se almacenan por separado de tu correo electrónico. Ambos conjuntos no se cruzan nunca. Consulta el aviso de privacidad.
11. Legislación
Estas bases se rigen por la legislación española. Cualquier controversia se someterá a los juzgados de la provincia de residencia de la persona ganadora.
12. Aceptación
La participación implica la aceptación de estas bases. Se descalificarán las participaciones fraudulentas, automatizadas o duplicadas.
