Bansko Nomad Fest 2026 runs 20-30 June with 50+ speakers across AI, remote work, and global mobility

Bansko Nomad Fest 2026 opened on 20 June and runs through 30 June 2026 in Bansko, Bulgaria. Europe’s largest annual digital nomad gathering features 50+ speakers across two stages, with talks covering AI in remote work, employment policy across Europe, freelance entrepreneurship, and cross-border tax and mobility.

The festival has grown steadily since its first edition in 2021 and now draws attendees from across the EU and further afield. Bansko itself sits at the foot of the Pirin mountains in south-western Bulgaria, about three hours from Sofia by road.

Why this matters: if you’re a remote worker or digital nomad already in Europe and you can travel before 30 June, Bansko offers a concentrated week of networking and content in one of the lower-cost EU destinations. Workshops on European visa regimes, AI tooling, and freelance positioning all feature in the second week. Day passes are available alongside full festival tickets.

For those who can’t attend this year, key talks are typically recorded and released through the festival’s YouTube channel within a few weeks of the event. The 2027 edition is expected to take a similar June slot, with early-bird tickets opening in autumn.
