Cross Border Coworking Conference returns to Zadar, 12–15 October

The sixth Cross Border Coworking Conference runs from 12 to 15 October 2026 at the Rector’s Palace in Zadar, Croatia. It is organised by the City of Zadar with INTERA Mostar, Tehnopolis Nikšić, BIT Centar Tuzla and the University of Zadar, under the CODES project within Interreg VI-A IPA Croatia–Bosnia and Herzegovina–Montenegro 2021–2027. Attendance is free, with mandatory registration, and places close on 20 September 2026 or when capacity is reached.

Why this matters. CBCC is one of the few European events built around cross-border coworking and remote work in the Adriatic region specifically, rather than treating remote work as a subset of a tech conference. For anyone working remotely from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina or Montenegro — or considering it — it is a rare chance to meet the people running the spaces and the programmes in person, at no cost beyond getting there.

Remote Work Europe’s Maya Middlemiss joins the “Where is remote work taking us next?” panel alongside Mita Carriman and Jan de Jong, moderated by Tamara Kojić, looking ahead to 2030.

What to watch. Registration closes on 20 September, or earlier if the room fills. The venue is the Rector’s Palace, which caps numbers, so the practical deadline may arrive before the published one.
