Spainโ€™s Digital Nomad Visa: 1 Year On

Spain has long been an attractive destination for remote workers, but until about 1 year ago, the visa situation wasโ€ฆ unclear.

Obviously for EU citizens itโ€™s easy to settle anywhere across the bloc, but for third country residents the options were tricky. The self-employment visa set a high bar for business planning and growth, and while many were winging it on the non-lucrative visa, the legal status of this entitlement specifically precluded doing any active work at all.

However, the new visa did not get off to a great start, despite its long anticipation.

Some of the documents required from overseas businesses did not seem to exist, the tax entitlements were frequently misreported, and protracted applications (and rejections) frequently ensued.

Our commercial partners at Entre Trรกmites have been through it all with their clients, and their immigration specialists joined us to reflect on the present state of play - and the tips they have gleaned, for a successful submission first time, every time. They offer a fixed-price service, to handle all the documentation, enquiries, and processing necessary for their clients, and you can book an appointment with Katherine and her colleagues for a free initial consult right here:

But first, hereโ€™s the video, to help you decide:
